What is TORCHED about?
TORCHED is the story of Jack, a charming and talented, alcoholic, schizophrenic piano-playing lounge singer, and his alter ego - a bar patron known only as Mr. Lovestruck - through whom Jack, over the course of three years and thirteen songs, lives out his one great relationship, from the first spark of connection, to the height of the flames of love, and on down to the charred remains of a love that has been utterly torched. And in the end, Jack will be left with just one thing, but it is the only thing any of us truly need if we are ever to find love again — hope.
